Stuffed Animal Toy Organizer Faq’s

Steven asks…
Where do you store your toddler’s stuffed animals?
I put my daughter’s stuffed animals on the top shelf of her closet, and I think they fit quite well. She also has an extra toy organizer in her closet that I think would work very well for her stuffed animals but it is already filled with her toys! The problem i’m having is that I want my daughter to have access to her stuffed animals so she can play with them whenever. But with her toy organizer and bookshelf in her closet there is no more room in there, and our living room is already overflowing with toys! Help?

We don’t have many. I keep them in a laundry basket in my room. It is a tall narrow one. My bedroom door is usually open for the twins to play in there, but they are not really their favorite toys, so they don’t have a prime location. But the hope is the basket of toys will give them something to do when they do decide to explore my room, besides yank the books off my bookshelf.
We keep most of their toys in laundry baskets. A lot cheaper.
We have big ones, and little ones. One straw basket for very small toys.

Charles asks…
Tips on organizing kids toy room?
We have one room we use as a toy room for our 3 yr old. There’s also a desk in there along with all her toys and books. What are some good organizing tips for this room? She has a play kitchen and lots of toys, books, and stuffed animals. I’m not much of a organizer in any area, so any help would be great! Thanks~

Recently me and my wife had faced the same kind of situation with our 4 years old daughter’s room. All the toys and dolls and books… Ooh! Until we found a Daisy pastel toys and books storage cube her room was a mess. Look at this site – http://www.1888toys.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=94 they have so many different things, which may help you organizing. We have invented a game in which books and toys have their own particular ‘room’ on the shelf and all of them ‘like’ to return to their home after play or reading time. Now she picks up everything she had played with and puts it right into it’s ‘room’. Just our own story to share…
Hope it helps you.
