Stuffed Animal Toy Storage Faq’s

Maria asks…
Do you still have anything from your chilhood? like a favorite toy, book or stuffed animal?
Is there something that was so precious to you as a child, you still have it now? Maybe in a trunk somewhere or in storage?
TS Staff Answers:
I have a number of books and a small box of assorted little things that mean so much to me and others would look at as junk. I think there is something in every room of the house from my youth.
(Sigh….now you’ve got me all nostalgic thinking about it.)

John asks…
Creative, cheap toy storage?
I need some good ideas for creative and cheap toy storage for my daughter. She has tons of little toys and stuffed animals. She’ll be one in march. I want something that go be in my living room and not look bad, don’t mind if it look’s kidish though, thank you!
TS Staff Answers:
Try setting up something in her room, and teaching her at a young age to put away toys before bringing out more.
We used milk crates of different colors on their sides just don’t stack them so that little people want to climb them.
Additionally as your daughter outgrows certain toys, don’t be afraid to give/throw them away or sell them at a yard sale.

Sandra asks…
Smoke covered stuffed animals?
I used to smoke in the house. NOW I DON’T The stuffed animal toys are now sort of brown tinged from the smoke and nicotine. They have been in storage for about a year while the house was remodeled, hence the no smoking in the house now. I want to bring them back into the house. but I really need to clean them. Really bad need to clean them. the whites are sort of dirty brown.
Any suggestions please. Pretty please.
TS Staff Answers:
Most stuff animal need hand washing, so you would need to soak them in laundry detergent with some color safe bleach over night and then ring out and dry.
