Why does my dog disembowel her stuffed animal toys?
My other dog a 1/2 chow never did this – they would last quite a while – indefinitely actually. I’ve heard different dogs do different things – i.e. they don’t all “gut” their stuffies.
Yes it’s something to do with squeakers – she particularly interested in that.

They like to tear the squeakers out of them. I’m not sure why that is. I guess its the same reason they like to pull all the yellow fuzz off of tennis balls.

Why Does my Golden Retriever pick up her stuffed animal toys and bring them to people that visit my house?

He is making friends with them and he wants them to like and pet him. He is showing love!! Labs are like that they are a very loving dog and they make friends easy. If the dog ever growls or doesn’t take the stuff animal to a person, something is wrong with that person.
